How to turn on Audio Meters for each Track

How to add track meters in Premiere ProHave you ever wanted to see audio meters for each audio track in your timeline? Perhaps you have a really complicated timeline with lots of audio tracks and you was to easily which track is playing audio at any moment. Just add Track Meters.

 

 

 

Right Click on your any of your audio tracks and pull down to “Customize…”

How to add track meters in Premiere Pro

A floating panel will open called “Button Editor” and here are a bunch of things you can add. The last choice is “Track Meter”. Click and drag it down to your audio track.

How to add track meters in Premiere Pro

This adds a Track Meter to each of your Audio Tracks in your time line. Now when you play back your project you can visually evaluate the audio level of each track.

How to add track meters in Premiere Pro

Side note: You audio tracks need to be expanded enough for the Track Meters to show up.
